Description: Units sold as a share of the units the shop had to sell. That is the stock at the start plus the units that came in during the period.
When to use: Use it to judge how a product or season sells against what was bought. To see how long the rest will last, use Weeks of cover.
Formula: Units sold minus units returned, divided by the stock at the start plus the units that came in. Count units, not money.
