- When to use
Use it to judge how well the shop keeps new buyers. Compare groups that started in different months. To see the mix of buyers in one period, use Returning customer rate. Leave out a recent group until it has had the full number of days.

Take the New customers from one period. Count those who placed a second order within the chosen days. Divide by all New customers from that period.
