Description: The count of customers whose first ever order falls in the period. A customer is matched by email address. People who only signed up for emails are left out.
When to use: Use it to see if the shop wins new buyers. To see what each one costs, use Cost per new customer. To see if they come back, use Repeat purchase rate.
Formula: Count the customers whose first order was placed in the period.
