Description: Items returned as a share of items sold. Each unit counts once, whatever its price.
When to use: Use it to find the products and sizes that come back often. Look at it for each product. To see the money side, use Return rate (value). Recent weeks look low until the return window closes, so compare only periods that are done.
Formula: Items returned divided by items sold. Count each return against the order it came from.
